Jam Community Tunes - May 2016

We're still getting the Jam Community Tunes concept started. A lot of people didn't know where to look for the tunes, and others didn't have the chance to take a crack at them. Because of that, I'm doing a smaller list this month.

The tunes requested for this month are:

Molly Rankin's Reel
Drover Lads

I've scanned in the tunes, and put them into PDF format at this link right here.

I know that everyone isn't going to be interested in every tune requested by the group, but I'd like to ask everyone who's participating in this to at least play through the suggested tunes a few times to see if you bond with them. If you're going to ask others to learn a tune you'd like to play more in the jam, it's only fair to at least take a look at the tunes others offer.

We're also going to play the 4-part version of High Drive with Gordon Duncan's original ending (with the extra bar) the very last time we play it, dots for which can be found here.

We had a decent turnout for the May jam, though we got a little bit of a late start because our space was still being enjoyed for a lazy Sunday brunch.
